As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the Asset and Wealth
Management Technology team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to
design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure,
stable, and scalable way. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to
define requirements and optimize application performance.

Job Responsibilities

* Develop recent user-facing features using React.js and Next.js.
* Utilize extensive hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and
TypeScript to enhance front-end development.
* Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
* Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of
web-capable devices and browsers.
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define
and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user
experience.
* Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work




environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across
complex deliverables (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation,
documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated
testing, and secure coding standards; contributes learnings and reusable
patterns to improve broader team effectiveness.
* Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle
toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and
automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.
* Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and best practices.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+
years applied experience
* Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM
