Roles And Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Project Delivery

Translate the Design Director’s creative vision into clear, actionable design strategies
and guide teams from concept through execution
Oversee all phases of design projects, including concept development, space planning,
material selection, documentation,



procurement support, and installation
Ensure design solutions meet functional, aesthetic, regulatory, and brand requirements
Review and approve design packages, specifications, drawings, and presentations
Maintain design intent throughout procurement, construction, and project opening
Stay current with industry trends, materials, technologies, and best practices

Team Leadership & People Management

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of interior designers and junior staff
Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, coaching, and professional development planning
Empower team members to proactively identify, flag, and resolve design and project issues
Build a strong design culture (“Build the Guild”) that encourages collaboration, accountability, and excellence

Client & Stakeholder Collaboration

Collaborate with clients to understand needs, goals, budgets, and timelines
