We are looking for a Port Operations Manager to coordinate port operations and ensure smooth handling of cargo in Mumbai, JNPT.

About the role

Location: Mumbai, JNPT.
Focus: Port operations, documentation, customs clearance, storage, shipment and coordination with service providers.
Type: Full-time.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate vessel arrival, unloading, storage and shipment of products.
Work with surveyors, customs brokers, port operators and other service providers.
Check transport, warehouse and customs documents.
Follow up on certificates, inspection reports and related paperwork.
Monitor handling, storage and shipping processes.
Control invoices and port-related costs.
Track operational risks and help solve issues quickly.
Suggest improvements to make operations smoother and more efficient.

Requirements

University degree.




5+ years of experience in port operations, logistics, shipping, customs clearance or a related field.
Experience with port operations in India is important.
Good knowledge of transport and warehouse documentation.
Experience working with international carriers, survey companies, port and customs services.
Good English, written and spoken.
Strong PC skills.
Attention to detail, responsibility, stress resistance and good communication skills.
