The Role
As a Technical Business Analyst at S5 Stratos, you will serve as the critical internal bridge between our client-facing resources and our core technical teams. You will deeply understand our proprietary software solutions for Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP), Assortment Strategy, Allocation Optimization, and Store Clustering. In this role, you will work behind the scenes to translate client requirements, product enhancements,



and defects—relayed by our account and implementation teams—into precise Jira artifacts and test specifications. You will collaborate with Configuration, QA, and Data Engineering teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and mapped to solution functionality. This is mostly an internal-facing position with little to no direct face-to-face client interaction.

Responsibilities
• Technical Artifacts: Translate client-specific assortment strategies, allocation logic, and store clustering needs into clear functional requirements documents.
• Jira Ownership: Write high-quality Jira user stories, data mapping sheets, and explicit acceptance criteria for the Data Engineering and Configuration teams.
• Defect Triage: Analyze client defects passed down by account teams, enable issues reproduction, and build actionable debugging tickets for developers.
• Data Engineering Liaison: Collaborate with data teams to assist in new solution development and as
