Position Overview

The Legal Executive will manage the organization's legal, contractual, compliance, and regulatory functions across business units. The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders (Operations, HR, Finance) and external parties (vendors, franchise partners, regulatory bodies, legal counsel) to safeguard the company's legal interests and ensure regulatory compliance across all locations.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

Contracts and Agreements
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors, clients, franchise partners, and shop owners.
Prepare and vet trademark documentation, property purchase agreements, and rent/lease agreements.
Maintain a repository of executed contracts and track renewal/expiry timelines.
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
Monitor and ensure all business units/outlets hold valid and active licenses.
Track regulatory changes and update internal stakeholders on compliance obligations.
Litigation and Dispute Resolution




Handle and coordinate legal disputes, lawsuits, and claims involving the company.
Liaise with external legal counsel and represent company interests before regulatory authorities such as BMC and other municipal/statutory bodies.
Maintain case documentation and track status of ongoing litigation.
Intellectual Property Protection
Manage and protect the company's intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets.
Handle trademark filings, renewals, and infringement matters.
Employment Law
Draft and review employee contracts, offer letters, and workplace policies.
Advise on employment-related legal matters, including discrimination issues and labour law compliance.
Support HR in ensuring compliance with applicable labour legislation.
Risk Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks affecting company operations, finances, or reputation.
