SELCO Foundation, a not-for-profit, engages in field-based R&D; and ecosystem building for the development of decentralized renewable energy solutions that alleviate poverty in urban, rural, and tribal poor areas. The organization works across verticals such as energy access, built environment, health, skill development, energy entrepreneurs, and partners from various developmental sectors. As one of its priority development verticals, SELCO works to develop sustainable energy-driven solutions for agriculture, focused on specific value chains such as millets, rice, spice, tomato, potato, and agriculture cooling. This role sits within the Agriculture Innovation team, developing clean and effective technologies that bring value to small and marginal farmers, entrepreneurs, FPOs, FPCs, and SHGs.

Role

As a Program Fellow – Knowledge in the Agriculture Innovation team,



the candidate should have strong sectoral knowledge of agriculture-based livelihood systems, communication design, content development, research, and documentation skills. The role is expected to be entrepreneurial and adaptive to varying situations and organizational requirements, working closely with the Agriculture Innovation programmatic and implementation team to capture and disseminate learnings.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Agriculture Innovation programmatic and implementation team to capture learnings in a timely manner
Work with data pieces of Agriculture Knowledge to develop innovation benchmarking decks and documentation for scale
Support development of program-specific content, partner outreach, and communication through crisp documentation and engaging templates
Assist, write, and translate content for organizational needs, including reports, presentations, and proposals
Design engaging articles
