About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Lead Engineer – Engine Calibration to join our Engine Development team. The role involves development and calibration of MPFI/TGDI gasoline engines and vehicles, ensuring compliance with Indian and global emission regulations while delivering superior performance, drivability, and fuel efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
✅ Engine performance and emission calibration development for MPFI/TGDI gasoline engines
✅ Vehicle calibration including drivability, cold start, environmental corrections, OBD-I & OBD-II functions
✅ Steady-state performance and emission optimization using engine test benches
✅ Emission robustness, homologation, and type approval activities
✅ Calibration dataset generation using INCA and data acquisition tools




✅ Root cause analysis and problem-solving using 8D and other methodologies
✅ Collaborate with EMS suppliers and cross-functional teams including Vehicle Integration, NVH, Electrical, Reliability, and Service
✅ Benchmark competitor vehicles and technologies
✅ Track and manage calibration project activities

Required Skills & Expertise
? Hands-on experience in MPFI/TGDI Engine Calibration
? Strong knowledge of combustion systems, emission control, and engine architecture
? Proficiency in INCA and calibration/data acquisition tools
? Experience in vehicle calibration, drivability, IOBD, and IUPR development
? Understanding of intake, exhaust, cooling, and fuel system interactions
? Knowledge of emission regulations, test procedures, and homologation requirements
? Basic programming skills in MATLAB and/or Python
? Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills
