Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Coimbatore.

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Field Service Engineer to join our Global Customer Support organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting YES semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites worldwide.




This position requires strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, excellent customer communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international setting. The Field Service Engineer serves as the primary technical representative of YES at customer sites, ensuring maximum equipment uptime, customer satisfaction, and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, qualify, and start up semiconductor capital equipment at customer facilities.
Perform equipment acceptance testing, system verification, and functional validation according to YES standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, vacuum, pneumatic, software, and process-related issues.
Execute preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, upgrades, retrofits, and field modifications.
Diagnose equipment failures using system logs, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, PLC diagnostics, and software tools.
