Job Title: Accountant – FMCG Industry

Location: Ahmedabad
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reporting to: Finance Manager / CFO
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.

- Process sales and purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GST and tax regulations.

- Monitor daily transactions, including inventory costing and movement.

- Conduct monthly and year-end closing processes.

- Prepare accurate financial reports, MIS reports, and cash flow statements.

- Support statutory audits and internal financial reviews.

- Coordinate with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams for data accuracy.

- Ensure timely payment of vendor bills and follow up on receivables.

- Manage TDS, GST filings,



and other regulatory compliance.

- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

- Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the FMCG sector.

- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and cost controls.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle).

- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.

- Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

- Ability to work under pressure in a quick-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
