Job Description:

A plant machinery incharge may have the following responsibilities:

- Plant utilization: Ensure that all plants are used effectively

- Communication: Coordinate with the site manager and workshop manager to identify the availability of equipment

- Equipment allocation: Identify gaps and allocate equipment accordingly

- Maintenance: Monitor a predetermined schedule of preventive maintenance, including inspecting equipment for cleaning and proper lubrication

- Inventory: Coordinate annual/quarterly inventory on all major equipment

- Reports: Prepare monthly reports for all hired equipment and machines

- Safety: Communicate plant status and issues to higher management

- Safety audits: Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a safe working setting
