We are seeking a proactive Java Application Support Engineer to provide production support, troubleshoot application issues, and ensure the stability and reliability of enterprise Java applications. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving technical challenges, debugging complex issues, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless application performance.
As a Java Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating production incidents, identifying root causes, implementing code fixes, and supporting application releases. You will collaborate with product, development, QA, and customer support teams to resolve technical issues efficiently while contributing to continuous improvements in application stability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application and production issues in a timely manner.




Debug Java applications and identify root causes of software defects, performance issues, and system failures.
Perform code-level troubleshooting and implement bug fixes within existing Java applications.
Analyze application logs, stack traces, database queries, and system behavior to diagnose technical issues.
Understand existing codebases and implement small to medium-level enhancements and fixes while maintaining code quality.
Monitor production environments, prioritize incidents based on business impact, and ensure timely resolution.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring production issues.
Collaborate with Product, Development, QA, and Customer Support teams to investigate reported issues and deliver effective technical solutions.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for troubleshooting procedures, known issues, and resolution steps
