Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced OpenText InfoArchive Engineer to lead enterprise data archiving and information lifecycle management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing OpenText InfoArchive solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance, long-term data retention, and seamless access to archived enterprise information.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain OpenText InfoArchive solutions for enterprise-wide data archiving.
- Lead end-to-end application decommissioning projects while ensuring secure retention of historical business data.
- Develop and execute data archival strategies aligned with business, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Configure and administer OpenText InfoArchive environments across development, testing, and production.
- Archive structured and semi-structured data from enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Siebel, Salesforce, and other legacy platforms.
- Design and implement data extraction, transformation, validation, and archival processes.
- Integrate OpenText InfoArchive with enterprise applications, databases, and reporting platforms.
- Collaborate with business users, compliance teams, infrastructure teams, and application owners to define archival requirements.
- Optimize archive storage, indexing, search capabilities, and system performance.
- Develop automation scripts for archival workflows and operational tasks.
- Perform archive validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide L2/L3 support for InfoArchive environments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, audit requirements, and corporate data retention policies.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides,



and operational runbooks.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on enterprise archiving initiatives.

Required Skills :

- Robust expertise in OpenText InfoArchive architecture, installation, configuration, and administration.
- Experience in enterprise data archiving and application decommissioning projects.
- Knowledge of Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) and Records Management principles.
- Strong understanding of relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and DB2.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.
- Knowledge of ETL tools and enterprise data migration methodologies.
- Experience integrating OpenText InfoArchive with SAP, Oracle ERP, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, or other enterprise applications.
- Understanding of XML, JSON, REST APIs, and web services.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows server administration.
- Experience with scripting using Shell, PowerShell, or Python for automation.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
- Familiarity with enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- 10 to 12 years of experience in Enterprise Content Management, Data Archiving, or Information Governance.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience with OpenText InfoArchive implementations.
- Experience in regulated industries such as Banking, Healthcare, Insurance, Manufacturing, or Telecommunications is preferred.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks including GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and industry-specific retention policies.
- OpenText certifications or relevant enterprise content management certifications are an added advantage.
