Role & responsibilities

- Perform X-Ray, CT, MRI, OPG and Mammography procedures as per requirement and qualification.

- Operate and ensure proper functioning of radiology equipment.

- Prepare and position patients correctly for procedures.

- Verify patient details, prescription and test requisition before conducting tests.

- Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent wherever required.

- Follow radiation safety protocols, including proper use of Lead Apron and TLD Badge.

- Assist with contrast procedures as per prescribed protocols and safety requirements.

- Ensure image quality and repeat scans where technically required.

- Maintain departmental records, cleanliness and inventory of consumables.

- Update test completion in the system and ensure reports are processed within the required TAT.

- Coordinate with Radiologists/Consultants, Medical Transcriptionists and Front Office teams.





- Inform the concerned team in case of equipment breakdown or maintenance requirements.

- Ensure proper printing, packing and handover of reports/films to Reception.

- Maintain high standards of patient care, service quality and departmental safety.

Preferred candidate profile

- Qualification: B.Sc./Diploma/Certificate in Radiology, Radiography or equivalent.

- Experience: 15 years in a hospital, diagnostic centre or healthcare setup.

- Hands-on knowledge of radiology procedures and equipment.

- Knowledge of X-Ray / CT / MRI / OPG / Mammography will be preferred.

- Basic computer and MIS knowledge.

- Positive communication and patient-handling skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.

- Good attention to detail, discipline and professional conduct.
