Role Description This is a full time Workday Extend Developer role with a hybrid work model that allows some work from home flexibility.

The Workday Extend

Developer will design, build, and deploy custom applications and extensions on the Workday platform to meet client-specific business requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing functional requirements, developing secure and scalable Workday Extend solutions, integrating Workday with other systems, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role involves collaborating with consultants, functional analysts, and business stakeholders to refine requirements, optimize existing configurations, and ensure successful releases.

The developer will also participate in testing activities, maintain documentation, follow best practices and governance standards, and support continuous improvement of Workday solutions.

Qualifications

2 to 5 years of experience with Workday Extend, including configuration, custom objects, and security model.





Workday Extend Developer for a contract engagement to design, build, and support Workday Extend solutions and integrations. Design, develop, and enhance Workday Extend applications to meet defined business requirements Build, support, and troubleshoot integrations using Workday Studio, APIs, EIB, XML, and XSLT Develop and maintain Workday Reports

Solid programming skills in relevant languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, JSON, XML) for building Workday integrations and extensions.

Experience with integration tools and technologies such as Workday Studio, web services, and API-based data exchange.

Good understanding of HR, Finance, or Payroll business processes and how they are implemented within Workday.

This role will focus on hands on development and delivery, working closely with business stakeholders through the full SDLC.
