Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, enhance and support Workday solutions for the relevant functional or technical area.
- Work closely with HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, IT and business teams.
- Perform configuration, testing, regression testing, reporting, troubleshooting and production support.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
- Maintain data accuracy, compliance, system performance and integration reliability.
- Support Workday releases, enhancements, audits and process-improvement initiatives.

Role-Specific Skills

Payroll Architect

- Workday Payroll configuration
- Earnings, deductions, payroll calculations and eligibility rules
- US payroll taxes, retro pay, off-cycle payroll and year-end processing
- Payroll EIBs, reports, dashboards and data audits

Compensation Architect

- Compensation and Advanced Compensation
- Merit, bonus, allowance and equity programmes
- Compensation plans, packages, eligibility rules and statements
- Compensation grades, calculated fields,



reports and audits

Benefits & Absence Architect

- Workday Benefits and Absence configuration
- Benefit plans, leave plans, time-off plans and eligibility rules
- Medical, dental, vision, insurance, HSA, FSA and retirement plans
- Knowledge of ACA, COBRA, FMLA and state leave programmes

Integration Developer

- Workday Studio, EIB, Cloud Connectors, RaaS and Public APIs
- Design, build, test and maintain Workday integrations
- Business processes, security, authentication and reporting
- Troubleshoot data flows between Workday and enterprise applications

Experience Required
- Architect roles: 3-8 years of relevant Workday experience
- Integration Developer: 35 years of Workday integration experience
- Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder-management skills
- Relevant Workday certification will be preferred
