About This Role The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining websites using the WordPress content management system (CMS). The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong technical skills in HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in WordPress of front-end and back-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, HTML5 and jQuery.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Solid communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Must be proficient in Custom Development including plugins, payment gateways.
- At least 3 – 5years of WordPress development experience.
- Experience with WordPress page builders such as Elementor.
- Knowledge of web standards, accessibility and SEO best practices.

Responsibility
- Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, using PHP and jQuery.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements.
- Work closely with designers,



project managers and clients to develop website specifications and user stories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure websites are responsive, fast-loading and optimized for search engines.
- Troubleshoot and debug WordPress websites, themes and plugins as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of WordPress updates, trends and best practices.
- Conduct website performance audits and implement optimizations to improve website speed and usability.
- Ensure website security and implement necessary updates and patches.
- Design, implement and manage highly responsive websites using WordPress.
- Document website development processes and procedures with well maintained documented, reusable and transferable code.
- Conducting monthly performance tests.
- Write clean, valid code using modern standards and libraries.
- Integrate with third-party APIs.
