Job Description – P&L; Lead (IVD Business)

Reporting to: Senior VP Revenue

Position Overview

The P&L; Lead – IVD Business will be responsible for driving the overall business strategy, sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence of MedikaBazaar’s In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) vertical. This role entails end-to-end accountability for business planning, market expansion, product portfolio management, and team leadership across India. The incumbent will lead the IVD business to achieve revenue and margin targets, strengthen supplier and customer relationships, and ensure MedikaBazaar’s competitive positioning in the diagnostics segment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & P&L; Management





Own and drive the P&L; for the IVD vertical – ensuring top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.

Formulate and execute annual business plans, budgets, and go-to-market strategies.

Track financial performance against KPIs, manage pricing, discount structures, and margins.

Identify and capitalize on emerging trends, technologies, and product categories within diagnostics.

Sales & Market Expansion

Develop and execute strategies for market penetration across institutional, channel, and digital segments.

Build robust engagement with hospitals, pathology labs, diagnostic chains, and distributors.

Establish region-wise sales and service targets aligned to organizational goals.

Drive high-performing sales culture with accountability for growth and retention.

Product & Category Management

Manage the complete product lifecycle — introduction, portfolio rationalization, pricing, and positioning.
