Role Description The Business Development Power Trading role is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The individual in this role will identify and develop new business opportunities in power trading,



focusing on both renewable and non-renewable portfolios and short-term and medium-term contracts. Day-to-day responsibilities include market research, lead generation, client outreach, and relationship management with industrial consumers, utilities, and exchange partners. The role involves preparing proposals, negotiating commercial terms, coordinating with internal trading and operations teams, and monitoring market trends and regulatory developments to support strategic decision-making. The position also requires regular reporting on sales pipeline, performance metrics, and opportunities for portfolio expansion.
Qualifications
Strong business development and sales capabilities, including lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management.
Knowledge of power markets, energy trading mechanisms, and familiarity with exchanges and utility operations.
