Overview of the role
The Project Lead – Ingredients is accountable for the operational discipline of the Ingredients research programme within Passport. The role owns how the work gets done: who does what, to what standard, by when, and across which teams.
The role reports into the Senior Product Manager – Ingredients and delivers through a cross-functional group that includes Data Specialists, VIA, Catalyst, CPT, Data Delivery, Data Science, EMMA and the global research teams. It leads through process and influence rather than through line management.
Two features distinguish this post from a conventional project management role. The first is the cross-functional setting.



Ingredients is delivered largely by teams the role does not own, and a significant volume of work sits ambiguously between functions. Defining and holding that boundary is the central challenge of the job. The second is commercial exposure. The Project Lead is expected to spend meaningful time in front of clients and to convert delivery quality into Passport retention.
What you’ll do
. 1. Cross-Functional Operating Model and Boundaries (25%)
Build, publish and maintain the RACI for the Ingredients programme, covering every recurring activity across Ingredients, Data Specialists, VIA, Catalyst, CPT, Data Delivery, Data Science, EMMA and the global research teams.
Define explicitly what Ingredients owns, what it consumes from partner functions and what it hands off — then hold that boundary when work drifts back to the team.
