About the Role
We are looking for a Solar Sales Engineer with strong technical knowledge and business development skills to drive sales of Solar PV solutions and Solar Mounting Structures (MMS).
Key Responsibilities
Generate and develop current business opportunities in the solar industry.
Identify and connect with EPC companies, solar developers, contractors, consultants and industrial customers.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions.
Prepare BOQ, BOM, technical proposals, quotations and commercial offers.
Conduct customer meetings, presentations and technical discussions.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Procurement and Project teams.




Conduct customer and project/site visits whenever required.
Follow up on quotations and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Track competitor activities, market pricing and new solar project opportunities.
Maintain CRM records and prepare regular sales reports.
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Technical Skills
Good knowledge of Solar PV systems and Solar Mounting Structures (MMS).
Understanding of BOQ/BOM, technical drawings and project specifications.
Basic understanding of solar project design and installation.
Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and CRM tools.
Qualification & Experience
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or related engineering field.
2–5 years of experience in Solar Sales / Technical Sales / Renewable Energy.
Experience in Solar EPC, MMS, Module, Inverter or Solar Project Sa
