We are looking for a talented leader to join our Chennai team and take charge of a major WebFOCUS project.

Role Overview

We are looking for a WebFOCUS Solutions Architect. This is a senior technical role where you will act as a bridge between business goals and technical delivery. You will be responsible for architecting a large scale application and guiding the journey from WebFOCUS 8.2 to the modern 9.3 environment. A deep focus on the Designer Framework is essential.

What You Will Do

Own the Architecture: Create the technical blueprint for our BI environment. Plan and manage the migration and coexistence of WebFOCUS 8.2 and 9.3 systems.

Build Large Scale Applications: Design and lead the development of a high performance WebFOCUS application that handles heavy user traffic and large data volumes with ease.

Lead with the Designer Framework: Use the WebFOCUS Designer to build modern, interactive dashboards and self service portals. Move the client away from old static reports and into a dynamic, visual experience.

Set the Standards: Define best practices for security, performance tuning, and data management. Make sure the system is fast, secure, and easy to maintain.

Translate Business Needs: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their goals. Turn those goals into a clear technical plan that the development team can execute.

What You Must Know

WebFOCUS 9.3 and 8.2 Expertise:



You must have strong, hands on experience with both versions. You know how 8.2 works, how to migrate its assets, and how to unlock the full power of 9.3.

Large Scale Application Experience: You have architected a big WebFOCUS application before. You know how to design for speed, scale, and high availability.

Designer Framework Mastery: You are an expert with the WebFOCUS Designer toolset. You can build complex, multi page dashboards with cascading filters and clean, responsive layouts.

Solid Technical Foundation: You have advanced SQL skills, know how to tune database performance, and can use JavaScript and REST APIs to extend WebFOCUS capabilities.

Qualifications

5 to 10 years of strong experience working with the Information Builders (IBI) or TIBCO WebFOCUS stack.

Proven experience in an Architect role (Solutions Architect, BI Architect, or Principal Engineer).

Mandatory: Deep skills in both WebFOCUS 9.3 and 8.2.

Mandatory: A track record of designing a large scale WebFOCUS application.

Mandatory: Expert level proficiency in using and building with the WebFOCUS Designer.

Good communication skills. You should be able to explain complex technical ideas in simple, transparent language.
