Web Designer / Frontend Developer (PHP & Next.js)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Web Designer / Frontend Developer proficient in PHP and Next.js to build clean, fast, and responsive websites. In this role, you will take layout ideas and requirements and turn them into functional, high-performing code using PHP, Bootstrap, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Website Development: Build rapid, responsive, and cross-browser compatible web pages using PHP, Bootstrap, and Next.js / React.
- Responsive Layouts: Create and style clean website layouts that work seamlessly across mobile, tablet, and desktop screens using Bootstrap.
- Component & Template Development: Build and maintain structured, reusable templates and UI components for easy site updates and maintenance.
- SEO & Performance Optimization: Implement web best practices (SSR/SSG in Next.js, image optimization, clean code structure) for fast load times and strong search rankings.
- API & Backend Integration:



Connect frontend layouts to backend PHP scripts, database queries, and dynamic APIs.
- Maintenance & Version Control: Manage site updates, debug existing code, and maintain project codebases using Git.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 24 years of experience developing websites with PHP and Next.js / React.
- Core Tech Stack: Hands-on proficiency with PHP, Bootstrap, Next.js, React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Responsive Frameworks: Solid experience building mobile-first layouts using Bootstrap.
- Version Control: Experience using Git and GitHub/GitLab.
- Web Basics: Understanding of SEO fundamentals, site speed optimization, and cross-browser testing.

Added Advantage / Nice to Have

- Experience with Material UI (MUI) for component library styling.
- Experience deploying applications on platforms like Vercel or standard web servers (cPanel, Nginx, Apache).
- Basic experience connecting with CMS platforms or MySQL databases.
