Next step HR is hiring a Web 3.0 Developer for a full lifecycle media network and digital entertainment powerhouse with over 27 owned and invested ventures spanning creator economy, social commerce, media, and technology solutions. They are building next-generation decentralised infrastructure and are looking for a seasoned blockchain engineer to join their growing tech team.

Location: Gurugram, India (On-site, full-time)

Experience: 4–5 years in Web 3.0 or blockchain development with production-grade smart contract delivery

Qualification: B.Tech., MCA, or BCA in Computer Science or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and audit Solidity smart contracts with a focus on gas optimisation and EVM efficiency
- Build and maintain Layer 2 scaling solutions including Rollups, State Channels, and Plasma
- Develop cross-chain communication protocols and bridge integrations for multi-chain interoperability
- Lead smart contract security audits covering reentrancy, overflow/underflow, and front-running vulnerabilities
- Implement cryptographic primitives — digital signatures, encryption, and zero-knowledge proofs




- Integrate Web3 frontend libraries (Web3.js, ethers.js, wagmi, viem) with product interfaces
- Collaborate on tokenomics design and on-chain governance mechanisms

Requirements
- Advanced Solidity skills with deep understanding of EVM bytecode and gas mechanics
- Hands-on experience with Layer 2 solutions, cross-chain bridges, and interoperability protocols
- Robust cryptography background including ZK proofs, hash functions, and digital signatures
- Proficiency with Hardhat, Web3.js / ethers.js / wagmi / viem, and testing frameworks (Mocha, Chai)
- Solid grasp of distributed systems, P2P networking, and blockchain data structures
- Familiarity with smart contract security auditing tools and formal verification methods
