Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site WordPress Developer role based in Bengaluru. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining JD Homes' website and landing pages to support marketing campaigns and lead generation for its farmland projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and modifying WordPress themes and plugins, optimizing page speed and mobile responsiveness, managing website updates and backups, ensuring website security, and troubleshooting technical issues.

The role involves close collaboration with the marketing and SEO teams to implement landing pages, forms,



and content updates that align with ongoing digital campaigns, while ensuring a smooth, user-friendly experience for site visitors.

Qualifications

- Solid hands-on experience with WordPress, including theme customization, plugin configuration, and page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for custom development and troubleshooting.
- Experience with MySQL databases and basic understanding of website architecture.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, website speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness.
- Working knowledge of website security, backups, and regular maintenance/updates.
- Experience integrating forms, plugins, and third-party tools (e.g., CRM, analytics, chat widgets) into WordPress sites.
- Basic understanding of Git or other version control tools is a plus.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with marketing and content teams on-site.
- A relevant degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
