Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Ward Boy to support the nursing staff in providing quality patient care. The ideal candidate will assist in transporting patients, maintaining cleanliness, helping patients with mobility, and ensuring smooth day-to-day ward operations while following hospital safety and infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist nursing staff in providing basic patient care.
- Safely transport patients to and from wards, ICU, OT, Radiology, and Diagnostic departments.
- Assist patients with walking, lifting, transferring, and mobility.
- Shift patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, or hospital beds.
- Assist during patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
- Deliver patient reports, medicines, blood samples, and other medical items within the hospital.
- Maintain cleanliness of patient beds, wheelchairs, stretchers, and patient care areas.




- Change bed linens and prepare beds for current admissions.
- Assist in handling deceased patients as per hospital protocols.
- Support emergency situations as directed by doctors and nurses.
- Follow infection control, biomedical waste management, and hospital safety guidelines.
- Report any unusual patient condition or emergency immediately to the nursing staff.
- Maintain discipline, professionalism, and patient confidentiality at all times.

Required Skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle patients with care and compassion
- Basic knowledge of hospital hygiene and sanitation
- Physically fit to lift and transfer patients
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Responsible, punctual, and disciplined

Preferred Skills

- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare facility
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices
- Basic understanding of patient transportation procedures
- Familiarity with hospital safety protocols

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
