The quality of school education available to students from low-income communities across India is abysmal. Their chances of attending college, or building a career are significantly lower than their high-income peers, condemning them to a life without voice or choice. iTeach was born in 2015 to challenge this status quo and create a level playing field for ALL children.

Responsibilities

The Partnerships & Outreach Associate plays a pivotal role in positioning iTeach as the best place to work in the education reform sector and attracting high-quality talent. This is achieved by building win-win partnerships with recruitment channels such as colleges, academic institutions, and fellowships. Based in Pune,



this role involves regular travel to colleges and partner institutions across the city, with occasional travel to Mumbai. It requires a creative, relationship-driven individual who enjoys building meaningful partnerships and inspiring talented individuals to join iTeach.

Building Win-Win Partnerships (40%)

Cultivate robust relationships with Placement Coordinators, Principals, College administrators, and other relevant stakeholders.
Design contextual and innovative programs to immerse the students into iTeach’s work while they are in college (volunteering, internships, events, campus ambassador programs, etc).
Execute recruitment campaigns for internships and full-time placements.

Outreach (30%)

Execute strategy to increase iTeach’s visibility among high-potential educators and leaders in the education reform space.
