Role Description The Keeper role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Keeper is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly school environment, including classrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces. Day-to-day tasks may include routine cleaning, basic upkeep of facilities, monitoring inventory of supplies, and reporting maintenance needs to the appropriate staff. The Keeper collaborates with school leadership and operations teams to support smooth daily functioning, assists with setting up spaces for classes and events, and follows all safety, hygiene, and security protocols. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to supporting a positive learning workplace for students and staff.
Qualifications
Facility care and maintenance skills, including basic cleaning, upkeep, and safe handling of equipment and supplies.
Organizational and time-management skills to manage daily tasks,



prioritize responsibilities, and meet schedules.
Awareness of safety, hygiene, and security practices in a school setting, with the ability to follow established procedures.
Basic communication skills to coordinate with teachers, operations staff, and leadership in a clear, respectful manner.
Reliability, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility toward students’ well-being and the school environment.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, including standing, walking, and performing routine physical tasks throughout the day.
Prior experience in school facilities, housekeeping, or building maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.
Willingness to learn, adapt to school needs, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful workplace.
