Role Summary

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Sales Development Representative with hands-on experience in Upwork bidding and client communication within the IT services industry. The ideal candidate should be capable of identifying relevant opportunities, writing tailored proposals, handling initial client interactions independently, and contributing to a healthy sales pipeline.
This role is suited for someone who can work with a fair degree of ownership, consistently generate qualified leads through Upwork, and coordinate effectively with internal teams to move opportunities forward.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize company profiles on Upwork to improve visibility and response quality
Identify relevant projects aligned with the company’s service offerings and business goals
Write and submit customized, high-quality proposals based on client requirements




Handle initial client communication independently through Upwork messages.
Coordinate with internal teams for project estimations, solution inputs, capability decks, and proposal support
Maintain timely and consistent follow-ups with prospects to convert responses into qualified business opportunities
Maintain and regularly update records of leads, proposals, follow-ups, and deal status
Contribute to monthly and quarterly sales targets through consistent lead generation and prospect creation
Stay updated on Upwork trends, bidding practices, competitor activity, and changes in client expectations.

Required Skills & Competencies

2 to 3 years of experience in Upwork bidding
Proven experience in generating leads and opportunities through Upwork
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to understand client requirements and respond with relevant, client-focused solutions
