The impact you’ll make
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated skilled to join our Controls group as a Lead Embedded Engineer. As an Embedded Engineer at Lam, you will be at the forefront of innovation by designing, developing, and troubleshooting, and debugging hardware and firmware for Embedded products. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
In this role, you’ll make an impact across Lam’s entire product portfolio of equipment working within our centralized Controls engineering team, collaborating with some of the brightest minds in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Execute design,



development, verification, validation, and qualification of Embedded products owned by the Controls group.
Own and manage complete product lifecycle of embedded modules, including comprehensive design documentation.
Collaborate with hardware and software engineers during product development, integration and debugging processes.
Qualification
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (EE, ECE, or related disciplines).
5–8 years of experience in firmware design and development.
Mandatory Skills
Mandatory Qualifications
Expertise in Design, development of Embedded software. BSP, device drivers for ARM Arch processors, FPGAs or SoCs.
Proficiency in programming with Embedded C/C++, and scripting languages such as Python.
Hands on experience on RTL development, firmware testing using HDL languages such as Verilog and VHDL.
