Position Overview
We are looking for a strategic and growth-oriented Senior Social Media Strategist to own ILEM Japan's social media presence, content strategy, and influencer marketing program end to end. This role goes beyond content scheduling. You will set the strategic direction for how ILEM Japan shows up across platforms, lead a content and creator engine that drives engagement and sales, and mentor junior team members while partnering closely with brand, product, and performance marketing teams.

Roles & Responsibilities
● Own end-to-end social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and emerging platforms, aligning every channel with brand and business goals
● Define the content strategy and lead monthly and quarterly content calendars, directing and mentoring junior social media specialists, designers, and content creators
● Identify cultural trends, platform shifts, and emerging formats early, and translate them into brand-relevant content strategies ahead of the curve
● Drive follower growth, engagement, reach,



and community health across all channels
● Lead ideation and creative direction for Reels, short-form video, carousels, and storytelling-led campaigns, briefing designers, photographers, and videographers
● Build and scale ILEM Japan's influencer and creator marketing program, owning relationships with key creators and negotiating high-value collaborations
● Own influencer campaign strategy end to end, from creator selection and outreach through performance tracking, ROI reporting, and budget management
● Oversee community management, ensuring timely, on-brand engagement across comments, DMs, and customer interactions
● Own social media analytics and reporting, translating performance data into actionable strategy and recommendations for leadership
● Partner closely with performance marketing, brand, and product teams to scale high-performing content and align social strategy with broader business objectives
