Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Chemist to join our Residue Analysis Laboratory. The ideal candidate should have 4–6 years of hands-on experience in operating and troubleshooting advanced analytical instruments including LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, HPLC, ICP-MS, and ICP-OES. The role involves method development, method validation, routine sample analysis, quality control, data interpretation, and ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of pesticide residues, veterinary drug residues, contaminants, heavy metals, and other chemical residues in food, agricultural, environmental, and related samples.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments including:
LC-MS/MS
GC-MS/MS
HPLC
ICP-MS
ICP-OES
Develop, optimize,



validate, and verify analytical methods as per international guidelines (SANTE, AOAC, ISO, EPA, etc.).
Perform instrument calibration, preventive maintenance, and routine performance checks.
Interpret chromatographic and mass spectrometric data accurately and prepare analytical reports.
Review raw data, ensure data integrity, and maintain complete documentation in accordance with laboratory quality systems.
Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, GLP, laboratory SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in internal audits, proficiency testing (PT), quality control (QC), and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) and non-conforming results and recommend corrective actions.
Mentor and guide junior chemists and laboratory technicians on analytical techniques and valuable laboratory practices.
