We are hiring experienced professionals for the role of Senior Associate / Subject Matter Expert Trade Operations within the Operations / Reconciliations team.

The role involves managing and reviewing reconciliations of Cash, Trades, and Positions between internal accounting data and external custodian/bank data across multiple asset classes, including Equities, Bonds, Mutual Funds, and Derivatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Investment Banking operations, end-to-end reconciliation processes, stakeholder management, issue resolution, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and review daily reconciliation activities across cash, trades, and positions.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all reconciliation processes within defined SLAs.
- Investigate breaks/exceptions and coordinate with internal teams, custodians, banks, and stakeholders for resolution.
- Act as a subject matter expert for trade operations and reconciliation-related queries.
- Review team output and ensure accuracy, quality, and process adherence.
- Escalate critical issues to leadership in a timely manner and support resolution.
- Identify root causes of recurring breaks and drive corrective actions.
- Support process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and work instructions.
- Mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer within the team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth process delivery.
- Ensure data integrity, risk control, and adherence to operational controls.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools, automation, and data-driven solutions to improve productivity and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for digital transformation within wealth management and financial services operations.





Must-Have Skills
- Experience in Investment Banking Operations / Trade Operations / Reconciliations.
- Solid knowledge of Cash, Trade, and Position Reconciliations.
- Understanding of multiple asset classes such as Equities, Bonds, Mutual Funds, and Derivatives.
- Good understanding of end-to-end reconciliation lifecycle.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to investigate and resolve trade breaks and reconciliation exceptions.
- Positive working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and support team members.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Intellimatch or similar reconciliation tools.
- Exposure to automation, process improvement, Lean methodology, or digital transformation projects.
- Certification or training in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Data Analytics, or related technologies.
- Experience in mentoring, quality checking, or SME responsibilities.

Candidate Profile
- Candidate should have relevant experience in Investment Banking operations, trade operations, or reconciliation processes.
- Should be capable of handling complex reconciliation issues and exception management.
- Should have experience working with internal stakeholders, clients, custodians, or banking teams.
- Should be able to guide junior team members and support process-level improvements.




- Should have strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
