Sarvani Sweets is looking for energetic, adaptable, and motivated individuals to join a comprehensive six-month Apprenticeship Program. This is a general-purpose trainee role designed to give apprentices a complete view of business operations spanning three specialized production kitchens (sweets, chocolates, and bakery) and fourteen retail sales locations across Visakhapatnam.

The role's core contribution is building a versatile, well-rounded operator who understands both the production and retail sides of the business before being permanently placed. Based on performance, acquired skills, and results at the end of six months, apprentices are deputed to a specific operational, sales, or administrative section that best fits their aptitude.

The ideal candidate is a graduate or diploma holder with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable moving between busy production floors and retail storefronts, and genuinely interested in building a long-term career in the food, beverage, and retail industry.

3. Key Responsibilities

A. Guest &

- Candidate Interaction

¢ Greet and assist walk-in customers at retail locations with a warm, professional demeanor during retail rotation.

¢ Handle customer queries on products, pricing, and availability, escalating complex issues to the Store Manager.

¢ Support festive and peak-season customer flow management across retail storefronts.

¢ Represent the Sarvani Sweets brand voice consistently in every customer-facing interaction.

¢ Assist with customer feedback collection and relay insights to the reporting Team Lead.

B. Core Function (Production &

- Retail)

¢ Shadow and assist team leads in day-to-day production activities across the sweets, chocolates, and bakery kitchens.

¢ Support dispatch operations, ensuring accurate and timely movement of goods to retail outlets.

¢ Assist front-of-house retail operations including billing support, merchandising, and stock display.

¢ Learn and strictly adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) at every rotation station.

¢ Follow quality control checkpoints and food safety standards (FSSAI-aligned) at all times.





¢ Rotate through all three production kitchens and assigned retail locations per the training calendar.

- Coordination

¢ Coordinate with peer apprentices and cross-functional teams during shift handovers.

¢ Participate actively in all assigned learning modules and skill-building sessions.

¢ Build working relationships with production supervisors, dispatch staff, and retail managers across sites.

¢ Support smooth handoffs between production and retail teams during dispatch cycles.

D. Operations &

- Administration

¢ Assist with inventory counts, stock reconciliation, and basic record-keeping at each rotation site.

¢ Submit weekly training reports capturing learning, observations, and performance self-assessment.

¢ Attend and actively contribute to daily briefings at the start of each shift.

¢ Support administrative tasks such as attendance logging and basic documentation as directed.

¢ Flag operational gaps or safety concerns to the reporting Team Lead promptly.

E. Brand &

¢ Uphold Sarvani Sweets' quality, hygiene, and service standards across every rotation.

¢ Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with brand expectations at all times.

¢ Champion food safety and cleanliness protocols on both production floors and retail counters.

Minimum Qualifications

¢ Any Graduate or Diploma holder, any discipline.

Experience

Technical Skills





¢ Basic familiarity with MS Office / reporting tools for weekly report submission.

¢ Awareness of food safety and hygiene principles (full training provided on the job).

¢ Familiarity with POS/billing systems is an advantage, not mandatory.
