In this role, you will work closely with business finance teams and IT stakeholders to translate complex cost allocation methodologies, transfer pricing models, and profitability analysis requirements into efficient PaPM configurations.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP PaPM (Profitability and Performance Management) Consultant to design, configure, and implement high-performance financial modeling and allocation solutions. In this role, you will work closely with business finance teams and IT stakeholders to translate complex cost allocation methodologies, transfer pricing models, and profitability analysis requirements into productive PaPM configurations.

Responsibilities

Solution Design & Modeling: Architecture and configure SAP PaPM environments using visual, function-based modeling (including allocations, views, joins, derivations, and calculations).




Data Integration: Establish seamless data connections between SAP PaPM and source systems like SAP S/4HANA (ACDOCA/B), SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, or external non-SAP databases.
Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize complex HANA-based calculation chains within PaPM to ensure massive volumes of financial records process efficiently in near real-time.
Business Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Tax, and Controlling teams to understand Activity-Based Costing (ABC) models, global recharges, and Transfer Pricing policies.
Reporting & Analytics: Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate PaPM calculation outputs into SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other BI tools for executive dashboards and story reporting.
Testing & Support: Lead unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT), providing post-go-live hypercare and hyper-performance tuning.
