About the Role
Eleven Media is looking for an experienced Senior Editor to lead our Entertainment coverage. This is a leadership role focused on breaking entertainment news, analysis, commentary, explainers, and in-depth reporting. This is not traditional SEO content writing.
The role includes leading daily editorial coverage, mentoring the team, planning around major entertainment events and releases, maintaining high editorial standards, and driving audience performance.

Key Responsibilities




Lead the editorial coverage of Hollywood, television, movies, celebrities, streaming, awards, and major entertainment news.
Develop daily and long-term coverage plans, ensuring the team is prepared for major releases, premieres, award shows, industry events, and breaking news.
Track breaking entertainment news, identify important developments, and ensure timely, comprehensive coverage across the team.
Guide, train, mentor, and develop writers and sub-editors through regular feedback and coaching.
Assign stories, identify strong editorial angles, and help shape reporting, analysis, explainers, and commentary.
Review, edit, and occasionally write stories while maintaining the highest editorial standards.
Ensure accuracy, fairness, sourcing, consistency, and overall editorial hygiene across all published content.
