Role Description The Cardiologist will provide evidence-based cardiac care to inpatients and outpatients,



including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting clinical consultations, interpreting diagnostic tests (such as ECG, echocardiography, and stress tests), managing acute cardiac emergencies, and performing or overseeing interventional and non-invasive cardiac procedures as appropriate. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in the ICU, ICCU, emergency department, and other specialty units to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care. The Cardiologist will also participate in clinical rounds, contribute to treatment protocols, support emergency and trauma services, and engage in patient and family education on cardiac health. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Shifa Hospitals in Tirunelveli.
