WSP India is currently seeking an Engineer – Structures for Australia Mining Infrastructure Projects (Materials Handling Infrastructure). They shall be responsible for engineering design of structures in compliance with WSP Engineering and Client Standards. Previous experience in an EPCM environment in the O & G, Power plant, Chemical process plant, Mining processing industry is an asset.

A Team player and willing to work collaboratively with a motivated and highly successful team in Australia. The position will be for Mumbai location.

Responsibilities

This role is for an Engineer- structures on mining projects.

Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, fitness-for-service assessments, repair recommendations, and technical documentation to support lifecycle asset management.
Perform structural integrity assessments of existing industrial assets, including stacks, pipe racks, modular structures, access platforms, and buildings.
Conduct engineering evaluations using advanced inspection techniques, including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), digital twins,



structural health monitoring, and predictive analytics.
Ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes, company standards, industry regulations, and asset integrity management requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, operations, maintenance, and site personnel to resolve complex structural integrity challenges.
Drive continuous improvement by implementing innovative engineering solutions, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
Identify structural risks, evaluate failure mechanisms, and develop practical mitigation strategies to ensure secure and reliable asset operation.
Provide technical leadership and expert guidance on structural integrity, inspection planning, maintenance strategies, and risk-based decision-making.
Support quality assurance activities by reviewing engineering deliverables and ensuring technical excellence across all structural integrit
