Key Responsibilities
Gather and analyse business requirements related to compensation planning, merit increases, bonuses, incentives, and variable pay.
Configure and support SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay solutions.
Design compensation plans, worksheets, templates, guidelines, eligibility rules, and rating structures.
Configure compensation components such as:
Merit increase
Lump-sum payments
Bonus
Commission
Incentive plans
Long-term incentives, where applicable
Configure Variable Pay plans, bonus calculations, payout structures, business goals, and eligibility criteria.
Set up salary ranges, pay grades, pay matrices, budgets, currency conversions, and proration rules.
Configure business rules, workflows, route maps, permissions, and approval processes.
Work on Employee Central integration, including employee data, job information, compensation information, foundation objects, and MDF objects.
Coordinate with integration teams for interfaces between SuccessFactors, payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and third-party applications.
Perform data validation,



template testing, compensation statement testing, and payout validation.
Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, defect logs, configuration documents, and deployment plans.
Support annual compensation cycles, bonus cycles, merit planning, and variable-pay processes.
Troubleshoot configuration, data, workflow, permissions, calculation, and integration-related issues.
Provide production support and resolve incidents according to defined SLAs.
Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and provide training to HR administrators and business users.
Support SuccessFactors upgrades, release testing, enhancements, and regression testing.
Maintain solution documentation, configuration workbooks, process guides, and user manuals.
Work closely with functional leads, HR stakeholders, project managers, and offshore/onsite teams.

Required Skills
3–6 years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay.
