Role description:
* Good understanding and Knowledge of international codes like DMRB, AASHTO,
and Euro codes along with various other International Codal Practices and
Standards, Design Standards of Local County Councils
* Highway Design experience using Open Roads Designer and positive expertise in 3D
modelling for proposals and Detail design projects.
* Roadway Design for various stages of Design-Build Projects – Detailed design
of Roadway corridor, Detailed drawings, construction support drawings, Design
Reviews, Project Management, and Design Management.
* Experience in MS Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Role accountabilities:
* Responsible for managing technical aspects of smaller and/or less complex
tasks or components of larger tasks, meeting financial, quality, timeframe
and health and safety objectives
* Responsible for end-to-end project design and delivery for Highway
design-related tasks.
* Preparation / Finalization of various highway-related drawings at various
stages of projects.
* Computation of quantities.
* Preparation of design reports.
* Ability to understand existing condition reports and surveys.
* Coaching and mentoring team members.
* Ability to lead and design projects.
* Should have handled a minimum of 1 Design projects-overseas preferably for
the UK/US/CAN/EU/ME/AUS in the Infrastructure Business.
* Software: Navisworks, Infraworks, Open Roads
* Excellent Soft Skills related to People Management (desirable)
* Strong mentoring Skills – Ability to build teams (desirable)
