Job Summary We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling, skilled in post-production workflows, and capable of transforming raw footage into compelling, high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for various platforms (YouTube, social media, website, ads, etc.)
- Add sound effects, music, transitions, graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling
- Collaborate closely with producers, directors, designers, and content creators to understand project objectives
- Ensure videos follow brand guidelines and maintain consistent visual style
- Color-correct and color-grade footage for a professional finish
- Manage file organization, backups, and video asset libraries
- Stay up to date with trends, editing techniques, and industry tools
- Optimize videos for different formats, aspect ratios, and platforms
- Review, revise, and finalize edits based on feedback

Required Skills & Qualifications





- Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio/reel required)
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and composition
- Knowledge of audio mixing and sound design principles
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Solid attention to detail and sense of aesthetics
- Familiarity with social media video requirements (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with motion graphics and animation (After Effects preferred)
- Basic understanding of cinematography and camera operation
- Ability to brainstorm creative concepts and storyboards
- Knowledge of color theory and grading tools
- Experience working in a fast-paced creative or marketing environment

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required)
