Role Description The Video Editor role at Gencosys is a full-time, in office position based in Lucknow.

The Video

Editor is responsible for editing raw footage into polished video content, including trimming clips, arranging sequences, adding transitions, and synchronizing audio. Day-to-day tasks include performing color correction and color grading, creating and integrating motion graphics, and collaborating with the creative and marketing teams to align videos with brand guidelines and project objectives. The role also involves preparing different versions of content optimized for various digital platforms, maintaining organized project files,



and meeting agreed timelines for deliverables.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing, with the ability to handle end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Demonstrated skills in Video Color Grading, with attention to visual consistency, tone, and brand aesthetics.
- Experience creating Motion Graphics and working with Graphics for titles, lower thirds, and visual enhancements.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of audio mixing basics, file formats, codecs, and export settings for web and social media platforms.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and willingness to receive and implement feedback.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required.
