Role & responsibilities Footage Editing &

- Assembly: Review raw video assets, organize project bins, select key takes, and edit long-form or short-form video content.

- Audio &
- Music Editing:

Perform basic audio cleanup, balance dialogue/voiceovers with background music, and sync multi-track audio.

- Visual Enhancement: Apply smooth transitions, lower thirds, title graphics, overlays, and basic 2D motion elements.

- Color Correction: Perform basic color balancing and exposure adjustments to maintain visual consistency across scenes.

- Multi-Format Exporting: Export videos in appropriate frame rates, codecs (H.264, ProRes), and aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) tailored for specific social media and web channels.

- Collaboration &

- Feedback:

Implement creative notes and feedback from senior editors, content strategists, and clients in a timely manner.

- Media Management: Maintain clean project file architecture, backing up raw footage, asset libraries,



and final deliverables according to file-naming protocols

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of skilled or agency/freelance video editing experience.

- Portfolio / Showreel: A portfolio showcasing past edits (short-form videos, social ads, vlogs, corporate clips, or promotional videos).

- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with NLE software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.

- Basic Motion Graphics: Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects or similar for titles and callouts.

- Pacing &
- Storytelling:

Solid understanding of video timing, rhythm, cut points, and narrative flow.

- Communication &

- Time Management:

Ability to manage tight deadlines and communicate project updates clearly.
