We're looking for someone who doesn't just edit videos—they understand storytelling, pacing and how to make people stop scrolling.
The Role
We're looking for a creative editor who can transform raw footage into compelling content for Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
You'll work closely with the founder to develop a consistent visual identity that feels premium, authentic and emotionally engaging.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts.
- Edit longer-form interviews and conversations.
- Select and integrate relevant B-roll, stock footage and motion graphics where appropriate.
- Create engaging openings that capture attention within the first few seconds.
- Add captions, text overlays and graphics that enhance the story.
- Ensure every video aligns with AskNama's premium brand aesthetic.
- Repurpose one piece of content into multiple platform-specific versions.
- Organise footage and maintain an efficient editing workflow.
- Suggest creative improvements rather than simply following instructions.
What We're Looking For
- Solid storytelling ability.
- Excellent sense of pacing and rhythm.
- Experience editing founder or personal brand content.
- High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Good eye for colour grading and sound design.
- Ability to source tasteful B-roll when needed.
- Comfortable giving creative input and making recommendations.
- Reliable with deadlines and communication.
Bonus Skills
- Experience directing shoots.
- Basic motion graphics (After Effects).
- Photography or videography experience.
- Understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube content strategies.
- Experience working with premium or luxury brands.
