Position :Automotive Functional Safety Firmware and Driver Engineer

Job Summary
. Automotive Functional Safety Firmware and Driver Engineer
We are looking for an Automotive Embedded Software Engineer with experience in functional safety, firmware, low-level drivers, microcontroller abstraction, vehicle communication protocols,

Develop embedded firmware and low-level drivers for automotive ECUs and control modules.
Develop and integrate MCAL, Complex Device Drivers, BSP and hardware-abstraction software.
Work with automotive microcontrollers, peripherals, sensors, actuators and communication interfaces.
Develop drivers for CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART, ADC, PWM, watchdog, timers and GPIO.
Support AUTOSAR Classic or non-AUTOSAR embedded software architectures.
Implement diagnostics, fault handling, event management, communication monitoring and ECU state management.
Develop bootloaders, flash-programming modules, secure firmware updates and recovery mechanisms.
Implement safety mechanisms such as watchdog supervision,



memory checks, clock monitoring, voltage monitoring and communication protection.
Participate in functional-safety analysis and software implementation in accordance with ISO 26262.
Support safety requirements, bidirectional traceability, verification, validation and safety work products.
Perform static analysis, unit testing, code reviews, integration testing and target debugging.
Debug software using JTAG, trace tools, oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers.
Collaborate with system, hardware, testing, safety, quality and cybersecurity teams.
Required Skills
3-5 years of automotive embedded software, firmware, BSP, MCAL or device-driver experience.
Strong programming skills in Embedded C.
Valuable understanding of microcontroller architecture, registers, interrupts, timers, DMA, memory and peripherals.
Experience with CAN, CAN FD, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART, ADC, PWM and watchdog interfaces.
