MEP Engineer
Experience: 2–5+ Years
Location: Chennai
Salary: Starts from 25000 per month

Key Responsibilities
Design Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for commercial and residential projects.
Prepare permit and construction drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Design and develop:




HVAC systems (air conditioning, ventilation, exhaust, kitchen exhaust, make-up air, and heating systems)
Plumbing systems (domestic water, sanitary, and drainage systems)
Electrical power distribution systems
Lighting layouts, controls, and emergency/egress lighting
Panel schedules, equipment schedules, and electrical load calculations
Perform HVAC heating and cooling load calculations, electrical load calculations, and equipment sizing.
Size HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and electrical distribution systems.
Coordinate MEP layouts with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
Review architectural drawings and provide effective MEP design solutions.
Respond to plan review comments and support permitting and approval processes.
Participate in project coordination meetings and ensure timely project delivery.
