We are seeking experienced POS Application Engineers with retail experience to support the deployment and post-development lifecycle of Point of Sale (POS) and Billing applications. The selected candidates will work closely with the Head Office Development Team to ensure successful implementation, testing, rollout, user adoption, and ongoing application support across client locations.This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in POS or billing applications who possess strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused approach.
Requirements Key Responsibilities
Perform functional testing of POS/Billing applications before deployment.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business users and documenting observations.
Deploy and implement POS applications across client locations.
Execute application roll-outs while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Provide post-implementation support to end users and client stakeholders.
Troubleshoot application-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
Analyse reported defects, identify causes, and coordinate with the Head Office Development Team for bug fixes and enhancements.
Validate fixes received from the development team before production deployment.
Assist users with application configuration, navigation, and functional queries.
Prepare and maintain implementation documents, user guides, release notes, and support documentation.
