Role Description

The Manager – Generator Onboarding is a full-time, on-site role based in Current Delhi. The individual will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, onboarding, and managing relationships with renewable energy generators, developers, and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) across India. The role involves expanding WattMatch’s network of renewable energy partners, assessing project capabilities and commercial offerings, coordinating with internal teams to facilitate successful transactions, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. The candidate will work closely with business development, regulatory, legal,



and solution design teams to build a strong and reliable supply ecosystem for C&I; renewable energy procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. MBA is preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in the renewable energy or power sector.
• Experience working with renewable energy developers, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), or energy service providers.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy procurement models, including Open Access, Captive, and Group Captive structures.
• Experience in evaluating renewable energy projects, commercial terms, and developer capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of the renewable energy market, project lifecycle, and state-wise regulatory landscape.
• Excellent relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and commercial negotiation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously.
