Role Description The Video Editor role at Funnelzai is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh, India.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, editing video content for various digital platforms, and ensuring a consistent visual style that aligns with brand guidelines. Daily tasks include trimming clips, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, applying color correction and grading, and integrating motion graphics or static graphics as needed. The role involves close collaboration with content strategists, designers, and marketing teams to interpret briefs, refine storylines, and deliver polished, engaging video assets on schedule.

Editor will also organize project files, maintain an efficient post-production workflow, and provide input on improving video quality and audience impact.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in video production and video editing, including experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Proficiency in video color grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and brand alignment across different projects.
- Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and graphics to enhance storytelling and visual engagement.
- Understanding of sound design basics, including audio cleanup, music selection, and syncing dialogue and effects.
- Attention to detail, strong time management, and ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills for working with creative, marketing, and client-facing teams.
- Relevant experience in digital content creation; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video work is required.
- Formal education in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory when supported by strong practical experience.
