We are looking for a creative, high-energy Video Editor & Content Creator to lead Café Desire’s short-form video footprint across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller who can build videos from scratch—combining basic camera shooting

, motion graphics

, and modern Generative AI video tools

.

You will be responsible for bringing our products (coffee/tea vending machines and premixes) to life through trending Reels, product breakdown videos (2-lane vs. 4-lane machines), and engaging social content that converts viewers into leads.

What is Expected From You (Key Responsibilities)

1. End-to-End Video Production: Ideate, script, shoot, edit, and publish short-form video content tailored for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.

2. Product & Trend Integration: Conceptualize and produce engaging videos that feature our vending machines (explaining features like 2-lane, 4-lane, premix quality, etc.) while aligning with viral social media trends.

3. In-House Shooting: Capture crisp product footage, b-roll, and on-camera talent/team members using smartphones or camera gear at our office/experience center.

4. AI-Driven Editing Workflow: Leverage modern AI video tools (generative video tools, AI voiceovers, auto-captions, Midjourney/Firefly, Runway, CapCut AI, etc.) to produce high-quality videos at speed.

5. Motion Graphics & Visual Effects: Create slick transitions, animated text pop-ups, lower thirds, and motion graphics that keep viewer retention high.

6. Hook & Narrative Mastery: Design powerful opening "hooks" in the first 3 seconds to maximize view time, engagement, and click-through rates.

7. Platform Optimization: Format and optimize video aspect ratios,



sound choices, and captions specifically for each platform (e.g., sleek professional tone for LinkedIn vs. energetic style for Instagram).

Ideal Candidate (Requirements)

1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in video editing and short-form content creation (Agency or D2C/B2B brand background preferred).

2. Shooting Capabilities: Basic to intermediate knowledge of camera operation, lighting, framing, and smartphone video capture.

3. Editing Software Mastery: High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.

4. AI Tool Competency: Active working knowledge of AI tools (Runway, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, CapCut AI, HeyGen, etc.) to enhance productivity and visual effects.

5. Motion Graphics: Solid understanding of typography, text animation, sound design, and color grading.

6. Portfolio Mandatory: Must present a portfolio showing past short-form videos, Reels, or product showreels
