Role Description This is a full-time, in office Video Editor role based in Coimbatore.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage of lectures, tutorials, and promotional content into clear, engaging educational videos aligned with the academy’s standards. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and trimming footage, adding transitions and effects, integrating graphics or motion graphics, and performing basic to advanced color correction to ensure visual consistency. The role involves collaborating with faculty and management to understand academic objectives, refining scripts or storyboards where needed,



and preparing video assets optimized for various platforms.

Editor will also maintain an organized media library, adhere to timelines, and ensure all content reflects the academy’s mission and brand.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including organizing raw footage and assembling polished final outputs.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual presentation across educational and promotional content.
- Capability in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging intros, titles, lower thirds, and visual elements that support learning.
- Experience with industry-standard editing and graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or equivalents).
- Good understanding of audio editing, basic sound design, and synchronization for clear and accessible lecture recordings.
- Attention to detail, strong time management, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced academic environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with faculty and staff, and openness to constructive feedback.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communications, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in educational content creation or working with coaching institutes is an advantage.
